# Host Visit > Decide whether to take a technical audience into an organization the organizer does not control, and on what terms: > the host-dependency posture and the access-and-repeatability posture for a site visit, company tour, field trip or > learning expedition. Then write the expedition brief or the host brief. https://host-visit.skillsafe.ai/ ## What the page works out for free - The routing list: transport, catering, the per-site sheet, the conduct scope clause, invitations, press, capture and goals each go to their owner before either menu. - Host dependency: the host's engineer in your own room, one host site host-led (the default), one host site to a negotiated agenda, or a multi-host circuit (starved) - the talk deleted when the audience comes for something no slide shows, the negotiated agenda deleted without a counterpart who can commit colleagues' time, the circuit promoted only with several standing relationships and runway. - Access: open on the record, named ground rules (the default), a per-attendee written undertaking (starved, promoted by a bounded list plus a host's yes conditioned on it), or host-controlled clearance - open deleted over a restriction the host stated, clearance deleted with nobody to run the queue. - The pass threshold: the host's yes, the named counterpart, the restriction list and the clearance owner, all in writing before attendees hear where they are going. ## The run (metered) - `brief` replies with `summary`, `routing`, `axis`, `dependency_candidates`, `dependency`, `access_candidates`, `access`, `deleted`, `restrictions`, `brief_sentence`, `handoffs`, `flips`, `checks` and `caveats`. - `host` replies with `to`, `subject`, `understand`, `ask`, `see`, `repeat`, `will_not`, `confirm` and `note`; the page requires the named counterpart, the access posture in what attendees may repeat, and every missing pass item asked back. ## Links - API tutorial: https://host-visit.skillsafe.ai/api.html - Built on the SkillSafe skill @samber/event-learning-expedition-design, from samber/dev-event-organizer-skills (MIT).
